What is the Shamley Green Village Association known as SGVA?
What are the benefits are being a member of the SGVA?
The "charter" of the SGVA states The Shamley Green Village Association's purpose is to protect and represent Shamley Green in the face of environmental challenges which might affect residents' enjoyment of the village (e.g. planning, development, traffic management etc.) and to ensure it remains a lovely place to live, now and in the future.
As a member you will be kept informed of ALL matters of interest to the village and your fellow residents. SGVA also acts as a conduit to promote the village associations, club activities etc. When there is an issue that has an adverse effect on our village, it is the SGVA that looks to channel all possible resources towards reaching a conclusion that is in the best interests of the village.
We welcome input and are easily accessible so as to hear the views and opinions of our members.
All Shamley Green residents (over 18) are entitled to join. Membership forms are available by email.
